Wow, 2 domain names changed hands today – or at least the announcements were made today on Sedo – for bargain prices in my opinion.
#1 undergraduate.com sold for a measly 22,000 USD – if the right buyer was found (a university perhaps) I can easily see this one going for 6 figures – as it can be the basis for a country wide university information website – and we all know what the university fees are these days.
#2 physical.com sold for 42,500 USD – Another premium domain name with excellent potential if the right buyer is found in the medical field.
Another interesting sale to note was that of market.de for 30,000 EUR. Although the proper word for market in German is Markt. I am not of a German speaking background so I am not sure what if anything the word market would mean in German or whether the domain name will be used to build an English language website.
Finally, humidifiers.com also sold for a whopping 50,000 USD. This could be an end user sale and a very nice one at that.

You are right…
“Markt” is the german word and “market” the english one. There is no other definition for “market” in germany, but the term is widley known and sometimes used.
Yea I saw that Sunday… I liked the Physical.com for $42k for obvious reasons.
I would have thought undergraduate.com would have gone for me honestly.
